RISEBA University of Applied Sciences (Riga) visited Tallinn University, School of Digital Technologies, 16/9/2022
On the 16th September 2022, representatives from RISEBA University of Applied Sciences (Riga) visited Tallinn University, School of Digital Technologies (SDT), in the scope of the recently signed Erasmus agreement between the two institutions. After a round of personal introductions, each institution presented their international graduate and post-graduate study programmes. From the School of Digital Technologies, we presented the following Master’s: Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Learning Games, Open Society Technologies and Interaction Design (online course); as well as our Information Society Technologies PhD. RISEBA presented their Media Art and Creative Technologies PhD and New Media and Audiovisual Art Master’s. Following this, there was a discussion regarding exploring collaboration possibilities in the scope of the Erasmus agreement between our institutions. It was identified potential in exchange visits from our respective PhD students, among other opportunities. It was also stated that representatives from Tallinn University should return the visit to RISEBA in the present academic year.
The participants were Aigars Ceplitis and Ellen Pearlman from RISEBA; and from Tallinn University: David Lamas (head of PhD studies at SDT); Hans Põldoja (head of studies at SDT); Martin Sillaots (head of Digital Learning Games Master’s); Nuno Correia (Digital Transformation team); Daniel Peniche and Yulia Sion (PhD students, teachers at HCI Master’s).
