Darja Tokranova wins the 2nd place at the University-wide competition of the research papers of students of Tallinn University
Every year Tallinn University holds a competition that allows submissions of Bachelor’s theses, Master’s theses, doctoral theses and diploma theses which have been defended in the previous academic year, and scientific publications published in the calendar year preceding the year of the competition. The competition and related activities are organized by the Research Administration Office.
Darja Tokranova, a junior researcher and a 2nd year DTI PhD student has won a 2rd place in a category of “Digital and Media Culture” with her paper “Applying participatory design principles to collaborative art-creating sessions” that was presented at the 25th International Academic Mindtrek Conference (Academic Mindtrek ’22) and published in the proceeding of the conference. Second author of the publication as well as Darja’s supervisor is professor Merja Lina Bauters.
Both authors were present at the award ceremony that took place on the 17th of April at 16:30 in the Mare building of Tallinn University. More information and the detailed results are available here.
